Um, so! I saw on the calendar that "Father's Day" is coming up, right? um... Well, I've been really lucky in Mayfield! I mean, it's not like my father here has any real obligation to be nice to me but he does nice things for me anyway, so um... even though I haven't been in this family my whole life, I'm really grateful for everyone in it, um.... r-right, I'm getting off topic, let's see...

I want to do something for my father! And I was thinking... maybe, I could try baking something for him! Or making him breakfast or something... I'm just not too good at cooking, so um... I was wondering, if anyone had the time... could someone tell me what an easy but delicious breakfast food might be? So I can practice before Sunday...? I-I don't want to trouble you, so I promise not to ask you to show me how to make it or anything! Just some hints would be really helpful!

[ Madoka can be found in the public library, glancing through cooking books for recipes. She really does want to do her best, after all. Unfortunately, Madoka is satisfied to just make some sort of fried egg dish at this point, and none of the books have something so simple in them. All of the complicated recipes are just intimidating her. ]
Ah... maybe this is a bad idea... I can't cook anything like this... Maybe a card and a "thank you" will be better...

[ Madoka will be poking her head into just about every shop or business in Mayfield. The Flower Shop, Bakery, Mechanic's, Movie Theatre.... she's on the hunt for a good present, thinking she could never pull off a breakfast. But her hunt is clearly hesitant, as she will walk in and out numerous times. Every time she finds something that might work, she thinks the breakfast is still the best idea. ]
I really should just buy something... I-I mean, if I mess up the breakfast then everything'll go wrong, so I really should play it safe... but if I just buy something, is that cheating and being lazy? Ah-, Father's Day is so difficult....!

[ Madoka will be looking for Lyra. She wants to discuss possible Father's Day plans with her. She's trying to be an uber sleuth and avoid Lithuania though, probably because she knows she can't keep secrets very well. Lying is so hard! ]

Hmm...how are you at making pancakes, Madoka-chan? I know this is more of a Western-style thing, but I find either mixing chocolate chips or blueberries into the batter and then serving them alongside some fresh fruit works well.
